<Hey, LLCF, the guy you "understand" thinks you're a criminal for sending your kids to Catholic school.>

Sure, maybe that's why I've always said I disagree with him... {see below for this issue}

Anyway...do YOU try and understand those who you disagree with, or???? Might want to think about that.

<I just think you're a hypocrite.>

Hmmm... well, you don't know what "sympathy" means... so we better make sure you know what "hypocrite" means:

1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion

Well, no, I certainly don't pretend to be "holy" now do I? Kinda the opposite I'd say. In fact, my whole point is to see the STRENGTH in understanding failings of ones self, other people AND religions.

In fact... it seems to me that denying the (negative part of the) history of Christianity is EXACTLY what that means... huh! Now, who was that denying the history of the Catholic Church??? Oh, never mind, I digress.

2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

Now, I'm sure we all do this to some extent or another, since life is full of "trade offs"... but in this case it just so happens that the very best school accessible to us, in our area, was the one they went to...sooo... as with everything else in life, there is give and take. Actually we're homeschooling my daughter now since she just left that school went into high school... and the Catholic High School is a mess with drugs, fast cars, etc. So... my daughter is learning EXACLTY what we believe now... No one in ANY school can actually say that... so, although I never thought of it... I think I'm doing pretty well!! I teach the science!

<But I guess your wife insisted.>

She certainly was more interested than I... HOWEVER, 1.) It was the best school (above) AND I converted to Catholicism JUST FOR THEM, so that I would know what they were learning, and discuss with them as a family about what they (we) thought it all meant. THATS HOW MUCH I CARE. {luckily it was a VERY "open minded" priest @ my church @ the time :)) }

[What do they call that?}

Ummmmm, A saint?

I have to say it IS pretty funny that he's actually trying to do that... I assumed the last time you linked that in it was from one of your wacko websites. He does seem very "obsessed" with the whole thing... wonder if he was abused. ?

OTOH, apparently it's not an isolated event:
