What the heck does this mean?

They are a "SOES Bandit" firm looking to make a profit off of the Internet Broker explosion.

You learned so much can you explain that? And why shouldn't they make a profit. SOES Bandit only means that they had trades that made a profit at the expense of MM's. So what is the problem with that. You try to sound like SOES Bandit is a crime.

Rod..

Jack, good for them. And "SOES bandit", IMO, means good for us. In fact that's one of the things I like about them - the fact that they have so much experience in the SOES world. That experience translates into fast executions. I have a good friend who works as a Market Maker (OK, I forgive him for that). When i told him August a year ago that I was considering moving my account to Datek, he made a face and said "SOES!" like he had a bad taste in his mouth. That reaction right there was what made me join up with Datek, and I've had almost nothing but good experiences with them ever since.

I think they should wear the phrase "SOES Bandit" like a badge of honor.
