Palin would certainly be better than Steele, that's for sure. If she succeeds in that position, then maybe she could go farther in her quest.

From Reihl's comments The promise of Palin is that she has plenty of time to prepare -- if, that is, she and her fans will both accept the prudential virtue of patience. Sometimes progress requires a pause. And the perspicacity to use it productively.

I had not considered that idea. She would be a welcome improvement over Steele who can't seem to shed his baggage.

I want Sarah Palin for head of the RNC -- right now!

She would be better than good. It's a perfect nest. She's a phenomenal fund raiser and the only one out there who can fill any venue. As RNC chief she would be in a position of being able to assist many R candidates, while building a stack of chips to be called in later. Heck, if she waited till 2020 to run she would only be 57 and already a "senior statesman."
