He will most likely do another amnesty, like Bush Sr did which is great politically but neither solves the problem or enforces our laws. This is a temp fix that just legalizes breaking our laws and encourages more to do so in the future. This is speculation since it is based on past experiences with other people such as Bush Sr. I expressed a view based on my past experience with this President; health reforms, financial reforms, Goldman's prosecution. He has demonstrated over and over again that his approach to issues are different. He beat the Clinton machine, he beat the insurance industry and now he has taken on Goldman. By supporting enforcement of immigration laws does not make a person a racist. Those who advocate and hide behind supporting immigration laws by focussing only on the Hispanic illegals are racist. There are many European and Asian illegals that these folks do not want to talk about. As I mentioned in an earlier post, those who advocate that these illegals should be sent back should visit the barios in California and witness for themselves how the American farm lobby exploits these illegals. They keep filling up their purses at the expense of these illegals. We have to account for this exploitation first before we speak about deporting them. A illegal stricken with cancer due to aerial spraying of pesticides while they are work in the fields cannot be cast away to die. That is not the American way. You need to visit the barios and see things for yourself first hand. You label Fox as extreme - Many view the sources quoted and read widely by this thread as extreme too. ie Huffington, MSNBC, etc. FOX is in a class by itself though they share some of the same traits as Huffington etc. FOX runs down the efforts of the GM worker, Americans all, who toiled to return the Federal loan. Roger Ailes' brains are in his balls when he runs down the efforts of the American worker. In their zeal to pursue a political line, they forget that they are attacking American labor when they make a mockery of the GM's returning of the Federal loan.
