What rankles is being denied the opportunity to do that by law. And under the guise of a benefit, no less. As far as I'm concerned, it's institutionalized age discrimination.

Price fixing leads to unintended consequences... every time. The original intention was to protect patients from high charges. At some point, after years of cuts and freezes, they instead get "protected" from the services they need.
