Very likely--------read a short article saying he was going to Beckley,W.VA. to talk about mine safety etc.

Will be interesting to see how the West Virginians take his coming in to offer solutions after having called them ignorant.

I am truly very sorry for the families who lost their men and maybe women (usually a man's job) in the mining accident.

At the same time I am a realist and suspect that Obama will do everything possible to denigrate coal mining as an occupation and to criticize the safety in mines.

The fact is that mining is dangerous-------just as all facets of life are dangerous.

Obama knows nothing about mines but that won't stop him and his czars.

By the way, Beckley is where Senator Robert Byrd wanted a school with his name on it several years ago I recall he got the funding from Congress for this).

The people in Southern W.Va. said no, we don't need another school to compete with the Marshall University, West Virginia U and West Virginia Institute of Technology, Wesleyan and numerous other colleges in W.Va.

Unfortunately, Obama will attempt to make some individual or individuals who have the interest of W.VA. and the coal miners at heart the scape goats, so to speak------my prediction on this.

On another note------the following article by Hoppy Kerchival who writes for the Charleston Gazette takes a step aside from the politics and puts this into Emily Post protocols----
