Interesting. But you'll notice that he wrote about that in the early 1930's, "rarely mentioned" his thesis after what happened in Nazi Germany and didn't seriously try to implement its ideas, like the skilled and charismatic politician he was. I can see why he was popular, the laws his government passed benefited a lot of people in the short run and there was the money from a booming economy to pay for it. Luckily for him, the bill did not come due til after he died.
