The SOX and technology stocks in general tend to their heights much sooner in an economic advance than the broader market as measured by the S&P 500. The RSI(14) on the SOX is already very nearly at the former peak area for the last cyclical advance on its monthly chart: How much more of an advance can we expect before we get profit taking? InvestmentHouse is always a good read because they rarely have a real bias unlike Seeking Alpha and Amateur Investor whose articles seemingly have questioned every bit of this advance. At some point everyone gets to be right. Although it remains to be seen just how right. RtS
