There was a time when congress would take on massive corporations too big to fail. Anyone old enough to remember THE phone company?

I think there is one legitimate argument for giant American banks - if they are not allowed to be giant HERE, they can easily be giant ELSEWHERE. So, clearly, any regulation needs to be GLOBAL.
