I am not too worried about single house or townhouse in US. Any building higher than 4 stories could become vulnerable in an earthquake. China highrisings are in fact the most dangerous to live in. The soil underneath around the Yellow river delta is too soft in most of the coastal cities. I am wondering how deep the the steel rods have to be drilled down below in order to really secure the whole building structure. Or disaster waiting to happen. As soon as the scam is exposed, the price will collapse like a pancake.
