Some truth to this. Most A students never get practical experience. They run things from the gitgo without ever learning how things really work. The world would be much better if we demanded that all students work the same apprentice jobs for four or more years before getting the high salary jobs.

Some people are smart enough so that they don't have to work at apprentice jobs for 4 years or more. They are called quick studies. Have you ever met any?
