I agree. Besides, I am wondering when the rank and file of the GOP will rise up in revolt against their current Congressional leadership who do not believe in doing what is best for the country and have instead substituted that with doing what is best for them to get back into power.

A poll just came out........the GOP rank and file pretty much are in support of their Congressional reps.

The Senate needs to abandon the 60 vote practice. super majority does not work. You need look at California to determine the destructive nature of the super majority rule. Super majority is another name for gridlock.

The Rs will never let it happen.

I think you are saying this only because the dems have such a majority. If the Rs had this type of majority, I think you would be saying "thank God for the 60 vote practice"
