It's still rat a tat tatting. Kind of charming. Does it for 10 minutes around 6 AM, which is when I want to be up anyway. It'll move on in a week or so. Then, I'll miss it. I like having animals with 'personality' around the yard, like the pet robin the neighbors next door nurtured back to health when it fell out of the nest. It's not afraid of people and prefers hopping to flying. I talk to it. It looks at me, but hasn't spoken - yet.
