Derivative market are intelinked. Thus, deteriorating
corporate credit will have a direct feedback on stocks. So
far some companies had better credit rating than the United
States, which is "strange", and can't be modeled. The
corporate credit was apparently priced for 1500 Spoos, or
so I read. If there is a signature of a top, this is as
good as any other signatures, but this market can remain
irrational longer than you can remain solvent. The credit
market started deteriorating, the housing market never really
bottomed.

Crashes are very rare, and are usually driven by events,
such as Bear, Leh, FNM, FRE, or AIG BK. Otherwise we'll
probably have a prolonged distribution top. Bottoms are easier,
they are almost always V-s -g-
