I just started participating in foreclosure Re auctions. So
far not buying, just sniffing out the process. FWIW, you can
snag a big deal for 1/3 of the current value there, it's hardly
beatable. Re will never be completely worthless -g-

By the way, distressed properties in Re are still gone in
a nanosecond. They either stay 1 day on the market, or they
never go on the market, and the realtors themselves buy 'em.

The conditions in the Re market can be characterized by
high degree of illiquidity. -g-
