NEW YORK (Reuters) - International Business Machines Corp. plans Thursday to introduce three home personal computers for the holiday shopping season, including the first in its Aptiva family ever to be priced below $1,000.
Rollout of the low-priced Aptiva E16 will take place in OfficeMax Inc. stores this weekend, Firestone said.

The ThinkPad and high-end Aptiva will receive broader launches, hitting shelves in a range of retailers like Tandy Corp.'s Radio Shack, Circuit City Stores Inc. and others. The Aptiva E16 will reach those retailers in coming weeks, Firestone said. ^REUTERS@
