Kant, you obviously can't count. You are the looney fringe wingnuts who have made up a silly theory and computer models which bear little relationship to reality. That's why the politicians are ditching Greenhouse Effect taxes - they know they are heading for trouble with the electorates who have got wind of the scam. New Zealand is still going ahead with the dopey Emissions Trading Scheme but that was to be as "fast followers". As those trading partners which we were to follow gave up on the idea, we are now the fast leaders with no followers. As even you might be able to figure out, if NZ does an ETS and sends money to Russians and Al Gore as penance for being "polluters", and India, China, USA and Europe do nothing of the kind, then we won't make much difference to how much CO2 is emitted, even if we use zero carbon. The average Kiwi bloke can figure that one out and even the average Kiwi sheila could see a problem and that they'll be poorer and Al Gore and the Russians will be richer. They won't think that's a great idea. Mqurice
