Sorry, I think you're wrong and I see the logical conclusion of your post as: when everyone is to blame, no one is to blame. So let's blame the politicians. For me, that's too much BS for me to swallow. As for the politicians, I see them all as well meaning fools. No politician from either party saw the way this thing would work out. The original intent was to try to get people into homes that they could afford, not some $30k school bus driver into a $400k hacienda. The bastards who merit the blame are the sob's who gamed the system. They were so damn smart and so damned greedy that they probably came damn close to cratering the US financial system and causing a second great depression - something that imo the jury is still out on. This is not about politicians, nor is it about dunces running rating companies, it's about greed and people who didn't give a rat's ass about anyone else other than themselves. IMO they deserve to go to jail. Maybe you don't agree - I don't care. If you want to respond to me, I would hope you send a PM. This is too good a board to start mucking it up with something that will rapidly become political.
