Who is playing whom? DM or Blankfein? Whatever DM's public image requires wrt Blankfein doesn't hide the fact that he despises all WS operators. Thus, I predict that Blankfein will be fed to the wolves. The 'crats have to pursue this to the ends of the earth to cover their black image coming from the hc debacle. The only question in my mind is whether GS rejects the Martha Stewart coward's route, and takes the high road of direct confrontation. I don't think they have a choice. They must.
