Re:SSL wasn't in yet but at these levels especially if one is still entitled to the spin out it looks like a good entry on the selloff....

ssl.v - thanks for your thoughts on Sandstorm Claude, that's how i see it, good long term hold, i had it on shortlist for adding and was glad of the selloff yesterday

It's not that easy to valuate a royalty model, you have to plug in several assumptions like price of gold and interest rates to get anything meaningful ... remember how poorly understood was fn.to twenty and twenty-five years ago, well it sort of proved itself ... i had a nice little second-time position in Franco, sold most at less than a double, aargh, got impatient when it levelled out for months, probably put the funds in some stupid loser, possibly in the William A Trimble promotion ape.v, roughly same time

[edit] - ric.to - how enthusiastic are you today on Richmont, if i may ask ... sold down to 4.25 this morning, i had an order in just above that last week, got very few shs so far, not fully up to date on developments

[edit 2] - the spin-off on ssl.v is not that significant, one thirty-fifth, less than three per cent difference ... but i like that they're streamlining the model, they'll get market value just for that in a logical world
