He has no concept about how he is perceived or what effect he has on others, which is probably why so many people have labeled him as delusional. Now if ever there was projection, your statement up above fits the bill perfectly. "...too smart to play dumb." It seems to be a character problem, he plays lots of childish games. The only one playing childish games is you. Most of us consider it odd under the circumstances. Interesting. More projection. I gave him the benefit of doubt for a couple of years, For years?!!! How long have you been posting here? figuring he would eventually come around to having normal adult conversations, he proved it was a waste of my time.
