The only way to control the illegal population in this country is to enforce the federal laws. That won't happen because its not to the advantage of EITHER the Dems or the Rs. NEITHER will push the issue. Once again, greed trumps the law. P.S. - I noticed you avoided talking about the Arizona steel company who is obviously employing illegal immigrants. Maybe because the owner of that company is a modern-day slave driver. Something you neglected to think about when emphasizing his part of the article ... What's there to talk about........employers in the border states frequently break the laws when it comes to employing illegals. Its one of the reasons why Rs are ambivalent about pushing illegals out of this country. All the blame placed on illegals needs to be put in its rightful place.......on the backs of whites. Whites got us into this situation because of their greed. Now they are none too happy. Too bad. They made their bed let them lie in it.
