Obama to nominate 3 for Federal Reserve Board.

None of them are Catholic or Protestant

And all are almost certainly inflationists.

President Barack Obama plans to nominate two economists and a lawyer to the Federal Reserve Board on Thursday, reshaping the central bank's top ranks at a critical period for financial regulation and monetary policy.

Janet Yellen, currently president of the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank, is to be nominated to be the board's vice chairman. Massachusetts Institute of Technology economist Peter Diamond and Maryland state banking regulator Sarah Bloom Raskin are to be nominated for seats on the seven-member board.
