one of the things in the constitution that says the gov is supposed to do is defend the country. what do you have against the Constitution , maybe you should read it sometime, the tea party people do.

Perhaps some tea party leaders hope that Republicans will soon be in position to use such powers to surveil the left.

This is laughable the Tea Party is fed up with both R's and D's.
