The days of the rich milking the poor are over. The Industrial revolution was the first step for workers to share the profits and improve working conditions.

Now we have the information age revolution not because of the Guthenberg press but because of the INternet. At least in the US, the workforce skill requirements are changing and we are migrating from a working class and the capitalist class to a system where there will be the professional class and the capitalist.

India is a prime example. Due to the foresight of it's leaders and the investment in education during the early years immediately following it's independence from British rule, India has already arrived at a point where the professionals can demand and procure a price for their services. I was a benficiary of that education. However, my lament is that my kids who had the benefit of "a US education" has not received the education I got. And that is why I zealously pursue and hope that this nation will put the education issue on the front burner and that the parents will shut off their TVs, the teachers will quit their unions and the Administrators will get their asses in gear to improve this education. After all I am an American by choice and not by chance. And I want to see my choice succeed.

So cheer up. This man we have in the WH is well educated, comes from a race that has a history of struggle, is married to a daughter of slaves and has "chosen" to work in the community instead of in the Board rooms. He will get us there with time. After all he has the power of the US Presidency behind him.
