zeus,

I don't know the details of every single case you presented so I can't comment on them, but I have long said that those guilty of sexual abuse or knowingly covering their tracks and reassigning them AGAINST THE ADVICE of trained psychologists/psychiatrists etc.. were scumbags for putting others at danger.

When they committed crimes they should be prosecuted and when they behaved irresponsibly or immorally they should be stripped of their power and/or ability to endanger anyone.

I just added one group of scumbags to the list above.

I think people that hate the Catholic Church in a broader sense because they don't like its teachings (or for whatever reason) that are using lies, spin, exaggeration, misleading stats and terms etc... to attack the entire church instead of just going after the guilty individuals and without also going after public schools, day care centers, rabbis, clerics, ministers etc.. with the same fury when they are guilty of similar crimes are also scumbags.

You are either against sexual abuse and cover ups whenever and wherever they occur and report on it properly in the press or you are scumbag.

Eco-hero/cartoon character Al Gore travel update

April 30, 2010--Philippines
April 29, 2010--Johannesburg, South Africa
(April 28, 2010--We learn that Gore and his wife just bought an $8.875 million ocean-view villa with swimming pool, six fireplaces and nine bathrooms)
April 27, 2010--New York (afternoon)
April 27, 2010--Chicago (morning)
April 26, 2010--Denver
April 24, 2010--Italy
April 22, 2010--Montreal

You know, after examining how Al Gore lives, I'm seriously considering going to bed some night without unplugging all of my appliances.

Why would a guy who thinks the seas will rise buy a villa on the beach?

It turns out that Glenn Beck's kidnapping stats for Phoenix and Tucson were, well, lies. As usual. The rate in Phoenix actually went down in 2009 vs. 2008, and during both years, neither Phoenix nor Tucson broke into the top ten cities in the U.S. in Kidnappings, either in total or as a percentage of the population. Camden, N.J. was number one. Damned Mexicans crossing the border and then hitchhiking to Camden just to kidnap paranoid white Americans. <G>
