No. But the Indians were killed off quickly for various reasons and not assimilated, Disease included. That was the US.....you've got your histories mixed up. Don't go by your Cuban friends in FLA. That's not the way most Cubans look in Cuba. In the first and second waves, it was mostly the white, upper class Cubans who came here. They were the minority. The vast majority of the remaining Cubans are dark skinned. And many of them look to have Indian blood.
