Having lived in Miami, I can say that about the same number of Cubans are white, or mostly white, and mixed white and black. A very few are black. The mixed race Cubans often have gold colored eyes. Though there may be some Native American blood, it is not noticable. They are generally taller than a Mexican with no red tone, either white or a deep tan color. Many of the Cubans who migrated here were mostly white and of European descent. However, there are Cubans back in Havana who are descendants of Indians and Africans.
