There've been a number of good shows with messages on that show. Off the top of my head I recall these were good:

The one where Peggy's brother, an excon, starts corrupting and ruining the family's life till they set him up.

The one where Peggy starts selling houses in a hispanic neighborhood to affluent artsy types looking for "ethnic flavor" and the influx drives rents up so a friend of Hanks is going to have to move. Peggy gets to feeling guilty at the friends quincenaria and solves the problem by convincing the artsy types the neighborhood is turning redneck.
