Between the car companies, oil companies, corporations and Republicans carrying their water, we lost the last 30 years of responsible behavior toward our dependence on oil. Watch what happens when we hit peak oil big time. I watched Zbigniew Brzezinski this morning explain why bombing Iran woul dbe a travesty. $10 gas, Russia woul dhave a choke hold on Europe and all of Iran and much fo the middle east becoming like al Qaeda. Brzezinski was so articulate and showed the true complexity of actions like boming Iran or peak oil. He was Carters national security advisor and one of the best of all times. Carter tried to get attention on the peak oil problem and the right wing hates Carter whom I consider a great president.
