I don't "blame" you. I merely pointed out that are mistaken if you think it was a core issue or one that I had anything invested in.

And what you posted flies in the face of the facts I posted.

He wasn't wrong. But that disagreement is incidental to our discussion.

More importantly, slavery is and was a moral issue which had to be morally justified--especially by those people who claimed to believe and live by a moral guidebook that was DIVINE TRUTH. And in this book of DIVINE TRUTH they found justification to take a moral stance on a moral issue. And they took that MORAL stance with rifles in one hand and the slave whip in the other...and only when the rivers ran full with human blood were the slaves freed from their Christian Masters.
