Typical example...........one of my stocks, DNDN, got final approval today for its drug, Provenge. Great news....everyone should be pretty happy. That would be wrong........sure enough political fighting broke out on the DNDN yahoo board......on a day where all the shareholders did very well. A couple of weeks ago at the gym, Hannity was on one of the TVs mouthing off. Someone decided to change the channel......sure enough someone was a Hannity fan and an argument broke out....and I mean a major argument. For two years, the WA state legislature has been cutting and cutting expenditures in order to cope with the recession. Finally, its come down to muscle and there was no more to cut. So they proposed an increase in the sales tax. As soon as it passed, Tim Eyeman, the asshole who is trying to turn WA State into CA, filed a lawsuit and has started an iniative to overturn the new bill. You can't run a city, a state or a country with such vitriol at every turn......not long term. And frankly, I'd rather watch the country break up from afar.
