Re: "very expensive" Compared to WHAT? The cost of building a nuclear plant in New England? Hauling coal to the North East (and abating it's inevitable pollution)? Oil? (I'll admit that with the recent build-out of LNG terminals in Canada's East, and the North American surge in Nat. Gas reserves from 'shale' that Nat. Gas will probably emerge as an excellent option for them as well --- particularly for peak leveling and such.... Still, wind power when well-sited as this one seems to be has at least one thing going for it that helps to produce it's low cost, and that's the fact that the fuel costs are zero forever. <g>)
