Ok, lets see, I think we should go by what's in the header, so I'll put digs and jmiller back to where they would be if I didn't allow them a 2nd trade in April. Hopefully it won't affect their portfolios much since it's so early in the round. I should have caught them when they posted, but I usually just execute orders each morning without thinking about whether they are within the bounds of the rules or not. This is the main reason to keep the rules simple, no one is refereeing the match.

As for whether cash constitutes a first pick, I'll say no. As Wyatt points out, letting someone in for cash makes those who are busy get in at the same level as everyone else, and allows them to pick whenever they get around to it.

For this round the first stock selection counts as your first (and only) pick for April.

For next round, I don't mind if we up it to two picks a month. I posted this earlier. Some people thought that made it a rule, it doesn't, it was just my view, which drew little follow on commentary. Things don't become rules unless Taro puts them in the header. This is another cause of some of the occassional confusion, hey, too bad!

No, you misunderstand.

I am not arguing your right to make picks after the start. I am arguing for the right of players to change their picks same as your right.

Your decision was to make your picks late; I think players should have the same right as yourself. To make a decision late.

Note. I am not making these posts for my own benefit. I have made it clear that in my opinion trading in this contest is useless. I do not intend to trade. I intend to ride it out for three months.

Perhaps I'll change my mind about that down the road, however,

I'm not putting in trades against the April timeframe. Merely, what I am saying is that the people who placed trades have every right to trade again just the same as people who did not establish a position other than in Cash.

There is no bias here against you or anyone else. It's just fair play.
