is it possible that the 'no trade' crowd is a bit concerned that a few adept traders might run away w/ the contest, should they be allowed to manuever more freely?

that is why I liked Elroy's 'free will' laden response (taunt) :
Go ahead, pay 1% to trade, if you think you gonna make some money.

frankly the 1% commish doesn't phase me

..but then again several steadfast non trader types, whom made no trades at all, ended well above the more active among us in the final standings

and so perhaps such concern is unfounded
