You see our embargoing our resources as support for OPEC's production quotas? They have that effect of course but I assume thats unintentional.

Hardly any OPEC nations actually hold oil off the market deliberately. Only SA has done so temporarily but I don't see their actions as equivalent to what we do.

When SA produces less than they can temporarily to support price targets, they intend to resume production eventually. I don't there's ever going to be a time when our offshore drilling opponents ever approve of drilling.
