Go here to learn all about discounts on restricted shares:

Average discounts range from 12% to 45% depending on the companies financial situation and liquidity. The average discount was 12% for "relatively large NYSE-traded companies"; and 30% to 45% average for illiquid companies. Expect even lower for illiquid companies that don't have any real revenues like LBAS. Again, I can't imagine why an investment bank would accept a measly 12% discount for a non major exchange company that is also illiquid and doesn't have any true revenues. One more thing, this report was written in early 2007 when getting capital was easier.
