It has just seemed to me, following what little I know of Obama's career, he does not seem to have much interest in environmental protection.. I have never heard him speak out forcefully about saving our Mother.. Maybe it's his urban background where economic protection is a higher priority than environmental protection and more of a must.. I don't know.. As I have written before, Obama came out of nowhere with 50 million in the bank supposedly from small donors.. Ha ha, if you believe that, I have something to sell you... I bet most of that came from the big oil, the mic, and big pharma, etc.. So he has paid off the latter two, now it's time to pay off the first with his off shore drilling ban lifted.... But despite "the best laid plans" and all that jazz, sh!t happens. So did the big doG decide s(he) had to trump the O, to save ourselves from ourselves, by sending US a message not to f' with our Mother.. It's tough love coming from above or somewhere, probably burbling up from below in the way of that nasty stuff.. It seems like we always need a 2X4 across the forehead to wake most of US up.. :(
