Besides, Obama is at the inevitable wealth generation phase of being a rich person. He can easily just live on the interest and dividends and presidential salary.

In eight years, he'll be rolling in it. Any actual gains in his stocks will be re-invested, making more money, etc. He'll have to start doling it out if he wants to live by his principles.
