Hi scott,

I just wrote you a post on a thought of how to slow the gushing from the well head..

But it was lost..

Possibly scuttle an old moth balled Navy ship over the well head. The bigger, the better... Take as much of the hull as is possible off and use the interior of the ship to collect the crude and have exit pipe lines at the top so whatever is collected within the ship can be pumped to the surface for collection on barges..

It is sort of like using the the funnel thing but it would be faster to put in place.. It won't catch it all, but it would slow the leakage until a relief well can be drilled..

Just a thought..
