stupidity I've seen wreaked by spell check Spell cheque reeks to hi heaven. It wreaks so bad a skunk wooden touch it.

I type really fast and if I make a mistake I leave it til I am finished typing then go back over the post to edit it, the spell checker in the browser is not very good, I usually use Google as it's spell checker, it's 100 times butter.<g>

I think spell check is a device created by Satan. In my world, it is an absolute killer and clearly authored by Satan. I used to ace spelling tests in grammar schools. Then Spell Check came along and has (as MM says) reeked havoc in my world. It stinks! At least for me. Not only does it "correct," without my approval, stuff I don't want corrected, it changes the meaning. Some writers "create" words - and they are beautiful words that get "corrected" without my acceptance. Makes my job more difficult than it should be.
