Here is the teachable moment. I wonder whose "teachable moment" is it. The Govt. should come dowm very hard on BP to that extent that they be debarred from operating in the US and their assets seized and sold off to take care of the costs. That should teach the oil companies to not cut corners in safety. This is the Three MIle Island of the oil industry.
