In a supply and demand economy, who cares if the price of oil goes to 6 or 7 dollars or more per barrel. People will learn to cut down on consumption. And yes the auto industry will be severely impacted. But then they will be forced to start producing energy efficient cars. Good bye SUVs. They are dead already. What is stupid is to say we will not tax you if you fill up your gas tanks and drive around. Mr. McCain are you listening? I think even Hillary agreed with him for a while until it became apparent to her that she could not win the nomination.
