That really oughta be a clue to step back. but BP did not do what ARCO did when they made the Alaskan pipeline in terms of care. they should reimburse people. and the govt of the people should step up to put everything in place to make it so that they can demonstrate they can handle any worst case happening in the future. but we do all drive our cars, and as long as we do... we ain't so pure. and come on, most lefties give a fak about the gulf coast of red states getting ruined. they might care about some birdies and fishies, but not about the rednecks on the coast. I don't believe it for a second. it's just an excuse to trumpet no offshore drilling in the places they actually give a fak about. thankfully, I think Obama actually does care, as he cares about the miners dead in West Virginia.
