That wasn't my point. My point was that if you follow it when you are "blinded" by your "fallen nature" you could certainly think you were doing right. But what you were actually doing could be entirely immoral. As we suppose happened with the Popes and the Churches when they degraded fellow human beings and robbed their of their freedom--or when they forced Galileo to his knees or tortured and murdered Giordano. So such a rule has little to offer. Beside the fact that people are "blinded" by their "fallen natures" we also have the fact that what many people desire or want others to "do unto them" is complete perversity. Hardly a good rule for human interaction.
