And don't think this will end off-shore drilling. As soon as possible, the United States government will restart continued drilling, just like they are restarting the nuclear industry...Even with the Dems and Obama in power we don't have a really strong commitment to make massive investments in "Clean" Green Energy technologies -- not on the scale that is required...It takes leadership and this country is WAY BEHIND when it comes to our level of investment in wind and solar power. Let me ask you......and I really want an answer to my questions........I don't ask them rhetorically. What do you suggest? Do you want to put Americans on gas rationing for the next 20-30 years until we become oil independent? Do you want power plants to turn off power to American homes say around 10 PM every nite in order to conserve fuel? Seriously, Scott, how do you see us stopping drilling and stopping the importation of oil at the present time without some serious dislocation to the American economy? I am all eyes and ears.
