the private sector has blown itself up. lots of books about this: "the wrecking crew" by franks (private sector journalist), "shock doctrine" by klein (independent author), "disposable american" by uchitelle (private sector journalist), "it takes a pilliage" by prins (former goldman employee). that's the topic. if i'm latino, asian, black, or white is not.

Since that second post, Jeff apologized for the tone of his email. We have exchanged a couple of friendly emails. It's too bad he did not say up front what his term meant and give me an example. I would have posted that and linked to his book. Interestingly he admitted "Frankly, as a business procedure, it has limited applicability." However, one person emailed an example showing a business that Jeff confirmed is "crowd sourcing" - Software application testing. Mish
