since congress is bought and paid for by the bankers, it is their job to take the heat and protect the real criminals - uber bankers.

I agree with Congress' culpability. I'm not ready to let the bankers and the Fed off the hook.

Alan Greenspan (and Bernanke to a lesser extent) will not be treated well by history. Way too convenient for ol' Warren and ol' Charlie to give him a pass.
