Typical GOP answer. If in doubt, blame Obama. Let's not forget that it's the GOP that has done everything in their power to stifle renewable energy in favor of Big Oil and has been the most vocal against any kind of energy bill, unless MORE offshore drilling was in it.

So no one is going to buy your blame shifting to Obama on this one. You can continue to give it your best shot though and the rest of us can have a good laugh over it.

Notice who has protecting the marine environment as a statutory mission, performed a oil spill practice exercise in March but had no firebooms available in April.

To be fair, the same would probably have been true two years ago too.
