What are people's expectations for BP; your best case scenario on a ?socio-moral level? Aside from stopping the leak, "cleaning up", paying the costs and fines, and whatever restitution is possible to others, what is the end point that makes you happy? What will make you stand up and shout "The Giants win the pennant, the Giants win the pennant!"?

BP bankrupt? Out of business, sell the assets, stockholders lose, and maybe some jail time to the corporate person BP? What will that do? Is it better that Exxon buy their assets? Is it best that the USG nationalize them?
Here's the dirty little secret...this changes nothing, cuz the new owner will still be drilling and pumping, cuz....

we all demand oil to support our lifestyle, we all get very pissed when we don't have it, & we get almost as pissed when the price goes up by 50 cents.
Maybe oil is the anti-diuretic hormone of our society.
